Plants at Kew

Here are 3 pics i took last weekend of plants at Kew Gardens.

Spent yesterday creeping around various woods and found this- a fly orchid. Cick to see see it larger size.

We went to see Father Christmas today and on the way had a walk in the woods. We across these two snow people.

I thought i should have another go at the moon after my blurred attempts last week. It is really clear tonight so i took this of the half moon.

My large cooking pot, a present from my mum. An attempt to remove perspective from a shot by taking it from a long way away.

This is a pic of the moon with Venus and Jupiter taken on Monday. Venus is just below the moon. Unfortunately the tea was ready and so i rushed things a bit. Instead of sorting out the settings i just let it take a pic and so exposure time was 30seconds hence the movement of the moon and planets through the sky in that time.
